We had coffee and donuts at the clubhouse this morning.
Shortly after, Gaétan and I went door to door selling 50/50 tickets.
This is one of the four streets in the park.
Michele completed the latest puzzle.
Éric and Judith are hosting a supper for friends.
The temperature today was +18°C. Once the guests arrived, the wind
picked up, and the temperature dropped to +14°C in 15 to 20 minutes.
We all went up the deck to protect ourselves from the cold wind.
Murielle is taking Little-Dog for a walk.
My Michele going crazy!
Gail in a Steampunk style with Éric's hat.
All I can say is the plates were pretty full, and it was very good food.
The temperature is still dropping. The rain is coming down now.
Just before it started to rain more, most of the guests left.
Thank you, Judith and Éric, for this excellent meal with good friends.
Sunday, March 17, 2024.
It is St.Patrick's Day today. Green is the colour.
Our parade.
After the parade, we have a band on the patio, the Uka-Holics. We have more musicians than people listening to the band.
Supper is a good Irish Stew.

Today is Jannie's birthday. She is still holding at 29 years old.
She is happy we came.
Two good friends.
Today is also the last time we will see them. They are leaving Wednesday morning for Ontario.
Darlene and Terry invited all of us for a steak dinner.
We play darts before dinner.
Gaétan is the best for cooking steaks.
We had quite the feast.
It was good, but way too much.
We were surprised to see a Space X rocket fly over us on its way to space.
It was launched from California.
It was another excellent meal with good friends.
Tuesday, March 19, 2024.
Natasha celebrated St-Patrick.
She loves her ballet classes.
Wednesday, March 20, 2024.
With spring in full force here, my allergies are through the roof.
It does not matter. We are still going to California and the flea market in Calexico.
The outside temperature is 80° F. Yet the field workers are still dressed as winter.
The elevation.
The last time we were with Judith and Éric when we went to the flea market. It was a Saturday and not as many vendors.
For the local population, the big day for the flea market is Wednesday.
We have more vendors today, like this one with clothes on the ground and people rummaging through it.
On our way back, we saw this tornado going across the I-8.
We did not buy anything at the flea market. Next, we went to El
Centro and looked at some Thrift shops. Once again, no purchases.
When we arrived back in Yuma, we stopped at the visitor center to gather information for our trip back to Canada.
While we are there, why not take some photos.
Thursday, March 21, 2024.
We went to the KOFA High School to see the play "Once Upon A Mattress."
They are all high school students, not professionals.
It was a musical. We really enjoyed the play.
Friday, March 24, 2024.
The happy hour was at Dennis and Gail's place. It was also the
goodbye to Darlene and Terry. They are travelling back to Canada
tomorrow.
In Comox, an ice cream and a stroll in the rain for the Matte family.
Tonight is also the dance at the clubhouse. It was full of people.
We had a great time.
Saturday, March 23, 2024.
This morning, we did the last draw of the season for the 50/50.
We went to the Arizona Market for a walk before lunch.
We are having supper at Éric and Judith.
We are under a weather warning for air quality and high winds.
At 5 pm, the wind started, and the air quality went down.
We can hardly see the trees from the dust in the air.
As the front moves east, we are losing sight of the mountains.
It is now pleasant to have all that dust flying around.
Once again, I forgot to take photos of Judith and Éric and the wonderful meal they prepared.
Chantal, a friend of Judith and Éric, is visiting for a few weeks.
We had a great time, but as the evening progressed, the wind continued, and the rain came. The temperatures dropped also.
Sunday, March 24, 2024.
The high winds continued all night and remained until the evening. It is not fun with all the dust.
Natasha is with her friends at Goose Spit, near Comox.
Natasha is on her way to the big rocks. She does not even notice the eagle landing near her.
The eagle is not concerned about Natasha.
Kristin takes beautiful photos.
She enjoys her kite near her home.
Monday, March 25, 2024
Today and tomorrow are the last two days of "Howling at the Moon" for the season.
We are here with Judith, Éric and their friends, Chantal.
The wind was kind of cold.
They had a lot of people today. It was not the biggest crowd of the winter.
An aerial view of the site. The photo was taken a few years back.
Éric taking a photo of Chantal.
The band was OK. The wind was blowing toward the stage, and the sound was not good.
The moon finally showed itself a little at 8:15.
We had a lot of howling going on.
The moon once we got back home.
It was a good evening with good friends.
Tuesday to Thursday, March 26 to 28, 2024.
March is the month of "last". The last bingo of the season.
Our winnings for the season. We won a BIG $15 tonight.
On Wednesday, I went to Mexico with Éric and Chantal. She has a bad toothache. I will be the translator.
Sixty $ later and one less tooth, the pain is gone.
Thursday is a relaxing day at home.
Michele found a crock pot recipe.
You lay down sliced lemon on the bottom. You place large frozen shrimp
on top of the lemon. Add some herbs and cheese on top. Cook for 3 hours
on low.
It was good.
Friday, March 29, 2024.
For the last two weeks, we saw a lot of campers leaving to go back home.
Larry, Jamie and Darryl are leaving this morning.
Darryl is like a three years old kid. He is always happy.
Over time, we became friends. Larry and Jamie took many photos of Darryl with friends so he could remember them next season.
Here is one photo for Darryl. He is with Murielle, Darryl and Éric.
Natasha and her mom decorating Easter eggs.
The cherry trees are blooming in Comox.
Here also, it is spring, and the ocotillos are blooming.
Tonight was the last dance of the season. We had a great time.
Saturday, March 30, 2024.
The military base in Comox is putting on an Easter Egg hunt for the little one.
Natasha is very good at finding them.
She is giving a little attitude, I think!
She is one happy little girl.
Michele finished another puzzle.
The wind picked up at noon. We have wind gusts up to 75 km/h. This brings a lot of dust in the air. It is not fun for allergies.
The rain starts later in the evening.
Sunday, March 31, 2024
I have been washing and waxing the trailer for the last few days. It is a lot of work, but it will last longer.
Michele is painting the last panel in the shed.
Natasha has a trampoline now. I think I will be using it this summer!
